I made a christmas tree in the style of Rene's 'Dino Night Light' (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5220507)

You can use an arduino nano and WS2812b led strip (code is in the files) or any other led strip you might have to light up the tree
D6 is used to communicate with the led strip, use a 470 Ohm resistor to connect the arduino to the data input of the WS2812b led strip

There are 2 back plates:
- the first one you can alter to your needs (e.g. via tinkercad)
- the second one has a standoff for the arduino nano and a hole for a USB type-C breakout as shown in the picture. I used 4 (micro)screw 1,4 x 6mm to secure the nano in place --> do not overtighten :)

In addition there are some christmas balls you can use or you could design some and personalise your tree
