Thanks to Robagon's excellent tree trunk from his Tree for Gloomhaven, I had last Christmas a cover for the base of our tree! Didn't even finish it and already it looked great.
To print for your own tree scale in your slicing tool to the dimensions you need, or use the provided Blender files and re-export the stl. Note unless you have a really big printer you likely will want to print just one side at a time. Even if you don't I recommend one side at a time to get a cleaner print.
Also note I printed in PLA as the filament worked nicely without even painting. However, if you live somewhere warm, don't store it in your attic with the other Christmas gear unless you use something that can handle the high heat as PLA will not survive the summer in most attics, or at least not ours in Florida.
Thanks again Robagon as my wife really disliked seeing the metal pole behind our Christmas village. Your tree was fantastically easy to adapt to solve our problem.
