See https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7239719 for an improved version of the Christmas Tree.
These are print in place designs that intentionally use severe overhangs to produce a bushier, more relistic looking Christmas tree.
Do not use supports since the branches are intended to droop.
The rings floating in space are intentional and provide a little bushier appearrance.
The dimensions (mm) of file christmas_tree_2025_R7_251202.stl are:
X = 97.32, Y = 97.31, Z = 157.0
The dimensions (mm) of file christmas_tree_2025_R9_small_251203.stl are:
X = 47.31, Y = 47.31, Z = 78.5
The above trees are a more refined follow-on using BlockScad to two experiments I tried in 2011 in the following Things:
Pine Tree
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7018
More Pine Trees
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7096
The geometry for other tree sizes can be created in either BlockScad or OpenScad by changing one parameter: trunk_h.
trunk_h is the height of the trunk from the bottom of the tree to the bo
