Chromebook Charging Station

This charging station was created to house at least 4 more chromebooks in each of our homerooms. The base of the charging station has openings on either side (so that the cord can travel easily either way). There are also air holes to help with any heat from the charging. The lid of the charging station just sits on top, but in order to keep it closed, we added some rubber bumpers at the corners so it would not shift. We also added rubber feet to the base so it would not slide on the table/counter top. We used a 4 outlet power strip - with that and the 4 charger bricks in there, it was a tight fit, but it worked. You can see in the before and after image the difference it made in the classroom. Our teachers love these little charging stations. The print takes about 800g of filament combined, so it can be done with less than one roll - so total cost was about $22 with all of the supplies.
