Cigar Draw Poker

Anyone who enjoys a cigar will know that sometimes they are rolled too tight and it can be very hard to get any air through them... we call this having a hard draw.

Many of the cheaper hand rolled cigars suffer from this problem.

The solution is what's known as "Draw Poker" a tool that guides a spike or skewer through the centre of the cigar to make a channel for the air and ensure it can be smoked without industrial strength lungs.

Here is my design. It has 2 parts, the base guide and a smaller piece that can either be used to hold larger cigars in place or to space smaller cigars and help centre the skewer.

I used a simple kitchen/BBQ skewer in mine (sharpened a little with a file), pics included show it in use.

I made the hole a little small so it can be widened as needed but still provide a snug fit.
