circular sliding puzzle

This puzzle is composed of 16 tiles that can be moved around by rotating them.

The 4 stars of different colors make each tile different, ensuring that there is only one solution. I struggled to find a decent pattern to make each tile unique, and I'd be happy to have suggestions on what else I could try.
Any idea for a better pattern? Maybe something that does not require 5 different colors?

As of difficulty, it's not very hard. I'd say it's easier than the 15 puzzle (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/15_puzzle), but still interesting to solve.

This design requires printing supports and glue for assembling. All the components, except the "frame" component, must be printed 4 times. The "star" component will require to be printed in 4 different colors.
