Clarinet Reed

My son wanted an inexpensive reed that he could use for marching band. Traditional wood reeds can dry out and become damaged when exposed to heat during long summer rehearsals. He gave me one of his 3.0 reeds that gives him the best sound and asked me to replicate it.There were several iterations of the design, beginning with some that produced no sound, to reeds that sounded more like vuvuzela, to this version that sounds surprisingly close to a quality wood reed.
