Classroom Pulley: Single

This single pulley has been designed for classroom demonstration and experimentation.

I have included two different styles of wheels. The regular style features a rounded channel. the deep channel style was designed to prevent the string from slipping out of the wheel which I have found to be a problem young students often encounter when experimenting with pulleys.

I printed with a layer height of 0.12 mm but you could go higher.

I printed with a wall thickness of 1.2 mm and an infill of 20%

Baseplate Supports are required for the frame only.

*NOTE: If you intend to make a lot of these, print all the pins at the same time to allow for proper layer cooling. Otherwise you may need to do some sanding to the pin to work out imperfections.
