this is a 3D object of the global temperature change between 1850 and 2016. it is based on the same data as the famous »climate spiral« by ed hawkins (1), so if you want to know details, go there and read up on all the details.

it's a pretty scary thing to hold in your hand and feel how obvious global warming is, and how we are not even close to a turning point.

[edit] i resized the object along the x-axis by 200%, and the spiral character of it is now much more better recognizable. can be done in your slicer of choice.
