Clothes rack Airing hinge replacement

My clothes rack on which I dry clothes has a plastic hinge which is broken. It broke at the junction of the metal rod and the plastic hinge portion. I made two types of replacement as the hole where the rivet was removed was filled with a M4 stainless screw 20mm in length. The nut doesnt clear the next hinge when it closes. So each version differs by having the nut on a different side so that it can clear the hinge which is adjacent.
