Clutch

Clutch Plate is a simple metallic disc. As it is a disc it has 2 faces. Both of its faces are coated with materials(like Twaron pulp or kevlar) having high co-efficient of friction. Therefore, it is also know as friction plate. As we know the clutch plate or friction plate has 2 faces, one of its face is attached to the flywheel & the other one is attached to the pressure plate. (#DESIGN IN SOLIDWORK 2017)Here the frictional coat of clutch plate helps in efficient transfer of torque from flywheel to pressure plate & ultimately to drive wheels through gearbox
