Im putting these files on here to give people insperation or ideas about creating other cnc machines with cheap parts common to reprap printers.
These are the files i used to create a small 2.5 foot by 2.5 foot cnc plasma cutting table. It uses 608zz bearings 8mm linear bearings 8mm smooth rod's and 5/16 threaded rod. The main frame is 3/4 inch square tubeing. Its belt driven (gt2 belt i believe) and the motors are nema17's. My machine runs over usb to a grbl shield and arduino uno.
The width of the machine is limited to the length of smooth rod you can find I bought 8mm smooth rod from mcmaster carr in 3 foot length's
The length of table is only limited by the 3/4 square tube length. you could easily make it 10 feet long if you wanted.
The video is of the machine test without the torch hanging off the carrage but i will be adding more video's soon.
