CNC Router Drag Knife adapter

I got a CNC router, but wanted to also be able to cut adhesive and HTV vinyl for stickers and t-shirts. I'd seen other solutions that required a machined drag knife or other complicated mechanisms that also required you to figure out things like cutting offset since other knives make pretty wild swings while the knife turns. This uses a “Roland” style cutting knife where the cutting head rotates in a very tiny circumference - much like a machine like a Cricut does. You just install a ¼" X 1" hex screw in the top, held on by an embedded locknut, then drop your knife mechanism into the body with a spring (approximately 5mm X 30 - give or take) inserted between the top and the screw on cap. The spring allows your knife to self-compensate for any place that isn't a perfectly level or if you get the blade a little too close to your vinyl.
