CNC Router Fan Mount

These mounts attach to two common controller boards for small CNC routers, the CAMTOOL 3.3 AND RYC-GRBL V2. The stepper drivers on these boards generate a lot of heat and tend to be a point of failure on the boards. Increasing airflow with a fan will help the longevity of the board.

The CAMTOOL mount can be attached with the stock bolts. The RYC GRBL board is shorter than than the typical 80mm center to center spacing of the attachment slots, so it has an extension to reach the rail and requires extra appropriately sized M3 bolts and nuts.

These are designed to mount a common 40mm fan often used on 3d printers and small electronics.

I have printed and tested both version, and they fit well and provide good mechanical support for the fan.
