3D printed CO2 dragster.
Printed in 2 halves so that it can fit onto a smaller printer. Both halves are connected with 2 carbon fibre tubes. The wheels contain ball bearings and use a 3mm carbon fibre tube for the axle.
Finished weight was 45g. Calculated drag coefficient of 0.28. Fastest time over 20m was 0.99 seconds.
Additional parts:
- Carbon Tube - 8mm OD, 150mm long, Qty =2 (wood dowel also works)
- Carbon Tube - 3mm OD, to suit axles (Bamboo skewers also works)
- Bearings for rear wheels, 3 x 8 x 3mm, Qty = 6
- Bearings for front wheels, 3 x 6 x 3mm, Qty = 2
