Coarse grater for Tefal

When I learned to make latkes with my grandmother, she always used a grater not a shredder for the potatoes and onion. I bought a Tefal Fresh Express machine to grate our potatoes, but the grater insert is far too fine. I decided to try making and printing one. It is not perfect, but it works OK.

I may try reworking it with slightly more aggressive teeth, but if I make them too aggressive, they would scratch the inside of the housing.

I made it in PLA as that was all I had, but I intend to get some polycarbonate from ProFab as it is tougher and can tolerate higher temperatures, so should be dishwasher safe.

I designed it in TinkerCad, which took a while, and I had a few attempts. I am happy to share the TinkerCad file so you can edit it yourself if you want.

I sliced it in Cura, set for the finest resolution so that the teeth were well made and sharp.
