Coffee Dreambox

"Carry coffee, not dreams." This carry case is designed to hold Nespresso original pods and features an extra pocket for ground coffee or other travel essentials. The idea behind this box was to have a modular compartment system. However, for our first prototype, we wanted to focus on the hinge and the accuracy of the snap fits. We also realised that when preparing to print, the box may be too large for some 3D printers. We will be focusing on how to improve this, while also configuring printing settings to improve print speed. Subsequent iterations will include a snap lid for the grounded coffee, and will improve the locking mechanism in addition to fine-tuning the tolerance to reduce movement and improve snafits. Overall, if you carry Nespresso Original coffee pods and want an organised method to carry with your tools this box could be perfect for you.
