I wanted to create a simple tray that would catch all the coffee that dribbles down my coffee cup. So I made a drip coaster that can either be made 100% infill or, the way I use it, has a paper towel inside the hollow part to absorb the dripping bits. The parts are made in PC and PLA. The part made it PC is meant to not melt when it comes in contact with hot coffee. The PLA makes up the rest of the design as the cup really only touches the PC part. If you don't like scalding hot coffee or tea and it's lukewarm, I think you might be able to print it in PETG or even PLA, but I would recommend PC. PC is a really good, cheaper-sided filament for handling heat, which is why it is the filament I have in the back of my AC unit as PLA and PETG both melted when I tried to use them.
