Coffee Filter Tension Ring

NOTE: My first prototype was printed with PLA plastic and it has proven to lose its shape (and thus the tension) after a couple of uses due to the heat of the water/coffee. I am currently testing a new prototype printed with ABS plastic to see if it suffers the same deforming.

I have a hand crafted, ceramic, pour-over coffee pitcher and I found that the filters frequently collapsed as I was making my hot brown morning potion, so I designed this filter tension ring.

This one is sized to ~108mm diameter to fit my specific setup, but could be scaled for other setups.
