I killed the motor on my cheap Amazon coffee grinder.
But the burrs were still good. So I decided to build myself a hand grinder conversion kit.
There is a slot for a 5mm hex nut on the bottom of the crank.
To attach the knob, I used an M5 bolt with some threadlocker.
The crank itself has a ~5mm square attachment.
The lid is twist-lock on the grinder base.
I needed no supports for the parts.
I was able to grind 30g of coffee by hand in about 70 seconds.
