Coffee Mug for Stop Motion

Place a mug of coffee or tea into the hands of a character in your stop-motion movie and make the coffee move as seen in Wallace and Gromit. You may even make a matching mug for yourself. The Coffee Mug with moving coffee has appeared in my showreels:

As the items are modelled at full scale and will need to be scaled to suit your requirements. The coffee mug and the coffee objects need to be printed with supports. The insert does not need supports and may be printed at high layer height to speed up printing. Use 15% to 25% infill.

If printing a full-scale mug for drinking hot beverages, print in a suitable filament, such as ABS, or use a resin printer. Seal the model with a food-safe sealant.

The Coffee Mug was modelled in Maya and ViaCAD. ZBrush was used for model clean-up.
