coin design

This project was originally going to be just a simple emblem/ crest for a contest. But I decided that I would go ahead and try to make a coin that would be remembered for a while. I designed it to 3d print it. I could have printed the holders and designs as one thing but I was constantly changing the design. Now if you turn the eagle it will turn the engineering logo at 1/3 the speed on the opposite side. kind of a cool effect. The center of the Engineer logo acts as a pop joint this is what holds it all together. The scaling is off, so if you use a 6 multiplier you will get the size I have posted in the picture.
