Description Inspired by classical architecture, this modular vase display transforms simple plant cuttings into a miniature architectural composition. The design combines clean geometric forms with column-like structures, creating a display that works equally well as a propagation station, decorative vase holder, or desktop plant showcase. What makes this project unique is its modular and parametric approach: Features ✅ Parametric pillars The two vertical columns are fully parametric models, allowing the height and proportions to be easily adjusted to fit different vase sizes or custom display configurations. ✅ Modular center support The central holder was designed around a cylindrical glass tube, but the concept can easily be adapted to other vase shapes and dimensions. The spherical vase version included in the photos demonstrates how the system can be modified for different containers while maintaining the same architectural language. ✅ Easy customization Adjust pillar leght Adapt to different glass containers Create unique compositions using the same design system Printing No supports required Easy-to-print parts Suitable for PLA, PETG, or similar materials Modular assembly Additional Design Notes For the original base rail design, I wanted to explore the possibility of producing the same component in materials other than 3D-printed plastic. To achieve this, I created the rail using my Adjustable Mold Generator, which allows custom molds to be generated for different dimensions and casting projects. This opens the door to experimenting with materials such as concrete, resin, plaster, ceramic clay, or other casting compounds while keeping the same overall design language. I think the architectural aesthetic would pair very well with the texture and weight of cast concrete. If you're interested in the mold-generation process, you can find the Adjustable Mold Generator here: [LINK]
