While printing some LED tealight-based Halloween models, I had a lightbulb moment (pun intended!). Wouldn't it be awesome if these little prints glowed in different colors for some extra variety? Imagine a whole lineup of spooky prints, each with its own unique light color—much cooler, right? So, how could I make this happen without having to print the same models in different colors? Simple: create a color filter for the LED tealight itself. That’s how this idea came to life, and I followed the example of "Keep It Simple, Stupid" (KISS). With less than 1g of filament, it's the perfect way to use up those last bits on your spools. It's just a tiny cap that sits on top of the LED tealight. Now, is it fancy? No. Does it snap on? Also no (since there’s no standard size/shape for these lights). But hey, it works. I’d recommend using it with models where the cap isn’t visible—like the cute little ghost prints that are super popular here. Simple, effective, and a colorful
