Combat Robot Wheel Assembly InstructionsThese wheels are designed for combat robots and fit 3mm or 4mm motor shafts. They are 3D printed (originally in PLA+, but other filaments can be used). The tire section is made using 2-part 30A rubber, providing significantly better grip than traditional foam wheels.Assembly Steps:Print both the hub and the mold using your preferred filament.Apply Mold Release spray to the mold to ensure easy removal.Position the hub inside the mold, ensuring it is level and fully seated.Mix the 2-part 30A rubber according to the manufacturer’s instructions.Pour the rubber into the mold, fully covering the tire section.Allow curing time for the rubber to set completely. Once cured, carefully remove the wheel from the mold—some force may be required.Install the wheel onto the axle.Secure it using either:An M3 nut and bolt, orA press-fit method, if the wheel holds firmly on the shaft.These wheels provide enhanced traction, improving performance in combat scenarios.
