Commel Socket Design Challenge - "Linear-Compact"

The idea for this design was to keep it as simple and as small as possible. The dimension of the socket extension turned out to be 261x45x45 mm. As far as BOM is concerned the parts are the same as the typical Commel model. The only thing that changes is the switch and the actual mold design. So cost wise I would estimate it a little cheaper due to material savings. The switch is flush mout into the body of the extension so that it won't be accidently pushed on or off.
