I replaced my own "prusa style" spool holder design with this new one. The features:
* Much reduced roll friction as compared to eg "prusa style holders". NO NEED for bearings.
* Very easy to load/unload filaments, just lift the spool
* Any number can be added in parallel (I use 2 times 3 spools as in the picture)
* Low-material cost, easy-print
* Very compact, interleaved design
* Re-use of prusas metal rods. (If you dopn't have them, why not print them instead)
* Compatible with 3dkTOPs 49-mm spool diameter
* Possible to even put inside a box or air tight compartment (see piucture)
Simply print the .3mf a few times (you might want to remove items for later prints as some parts are only needed for every second spool). Or if you prefer, use the STLs directly (remember to alternate between the "left" and "right" style sides as the axis will be placed in an interleaved manner in order to save space)
Obviously, you will also need to print a "filamentrullepuck.stl" for ea
