I made this clip to be completely compliant and have a satisfying locking mechanism that is easy to fasten but won't unclip. The clip also has an off-set screw hole if you want to mount it to a wooden surface. The surface area is large enough to be used with double-sided tape, contact adhesive or velcro pads so the are a lot of options for using this around the house.
