This was my entry to the E3D toolchanger model competition and took second place!
This is a pair of 3D printable pliers, which make use of a flexible (compliant) element for the fulcrum instead of a pin joint as used on a traditional pair of pliers.
This object is intended to be printed on a multimaterial printer e.g. the toolchanger from E3D and is split up into different parts which are printed in different materials.
Below is a list of each part, and the type of material intended for printing:
Body - The base of the pliers structure. This can be printed in just about any material but something rigid and strong such as CF filled filaments would probably be best. There is some writing (no thinner than 0.8mm) which is incorporated into the body which should be considered. The two arms of pliers pass around each other and involve some bridging. The part where the arms overlap should be left as a bridging operation, but the other sections on the arms which are unsupported could u
