This is a mold to create a concrete lamp base for a IKEA glass vase.

All credits for the design go to Glen at DIY Creators https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kb9vXZfTYoA&t=0s&index=33&list=WL.

If you follow the link you will find the original instructions on how to create the lamp base ... Like casting the concrete etc.

Since I have a 3D-printer I decided to make a more high-tech version of the mold ;-)

The base part is printed with support - but the other two parts should be possible to print without any support.

When all three parts have been printed they are assembled (see attached image) and I used duct tape to make sure that they stayed together when I poured the concrete in.

Unfortunately the mold can only be used once as its impossible to remove it from the concrete without breaking it. I used a lighter to heat up the plastic after the casting process had completed which makes it easy to remove.

The mold fits the IKEA 602.233.28 vase snugly
