This is a replacement piece for the classic game by Milton Bradley / Hasbro (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connect_Four)
This replaces the bottom 'sliding gate' which releases the coins. The printed model snaps on permanently and after you will just dump the coins out the top.
There is a small protruding triangle (stopper for the original gate) which has to be removed before you attached this printed model.
