It started as a project to print optical fibers and ended up as a consumer-like case, similar to a router or a transmitter/receiver. The case is quite simple to print, and a cable can be placed into the antenna (e.g., for an LED or a transmitter/receiver). The case houses three 3mm LEDs that can indicate status. An Arduino Nano (without pins) or an ESP32 without pins fits well into the case. A USB-C connector supplies power to everything.

The case can be printed in PLA.

The Light Tubes / Optical Fibres
The optical fibers are printed in transparent PETG with 100% infill. It is essential to set a slicing mode that avoids zigzag patterns and instead uses straight paths (often called "Concentric"). Let the printer work slowly, allowing around 1.5 hours for printing the optical fibers.

Experiment a bit with different infill settings, and repeatedly hold the prints up to the light to see what works best. If the prints look like sugar cubes, the light will be poorly guided. If the
