Cookbook Stand

We have previously owned a mass-produced cookbook stand but were disappointed with its capability as it wouldn't handle the largest of our cookbooks. We disposed of it years ago.

I was inspired by an iPad holder designed by Cre8tor10 (Thingiverse item: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1517164) I set about designing my cookbook stand using that design as a guide. So to the extent that I used the same general shape and angles, it is a remix.

The mortar and pestle logo was created by digitizing our mortar and pestle outline from a photo using Inkscape to create an SVG file.

Whilst the stand is pretty stable, even with our very largest cookbooks, I have now created a wider version, for some extra stability.
