I made this because the “waterproof” box I bought from Walmart still got water inside after a month outdoors. So, I designed my own! I wrapped Teflon tape around the cable for extra sealing — no screws needed since it snaps together tightly. After a 3 months of outdoor use, it stayed completely dry. I also made small stakes and glued them to the back with Gorilla Glue to keep the box elevated off the grass/ground (incase you need it, but i didn't use the stakes but maybe you get more rain than me!).
