Over the Christmas break, I wanted to create a small laser using materials I had in the drawers already. I was inspired by other designs on Thingiverse. Neither of them was fit for my use case and I ended up creating a new design using OpenScad.
The controller board runs FluidNC with WebUI v3 enabled, that provides a nice interface you can access via a web browser from your PC, tablet of phone. Upload files to the SD card and repeated cuts becomes very easy.

Motors: 2 pcs. Nema17
Laser:
Neje A40630 (5W optical effect)
Rails:
8mm rod (y axis) with ball bearings
6mm rod (x axis) with brass bushing
Belt:
GT2 (6mm belt)
Pulleys are held with 5mm screws
Frame:
v-slot 20x40
12mm plywood
Controller:
MKS TinyBee with FluidNC (Configuration file uploaded as well)
Power Supply: 12V / 4A
