MembershipSubscribe to my Commercial License plan to sell prints of this and all my other designs.I wanted an umbrella stand that actually looked stylish — something clean, elegant, and compact enough to tuck into a corner. Everything I found with that kind of design was selling for hundreds of dollars (or more!), so I decided to make my own. The whole thing is 3D printed — no wood, no glue, no tools. Just screw and press-fit the pieces together. Each beam is built as a 3-part assembly using 20x2.5mm threads with 0.2mm clearance on all thread faces. The top of each beam lacks a screw and press fits into the top of the stand. That joint starts with 0.5mm clearance, narrowing with a 1.5 degree taper so the rod slides in smoothly but friction-fits solidly. The whole stand uses about half a roll of PLA (~500g). At full scale, it stands around 24.25" tall with a 7" x 7" footprint. Because it's a lightweight print, I use a bit of double-sided foam mounting tape to ensure it s
