At vBionic we print these masks a lot nowadays for medics. We remixed the model to reduce print time and adjust it to different nozzle sizes. The mask is also a bit reinforced where prone most to damage.
Using PLA makes it possible to heat the mask with hairdryer to make it a bit flexible again. This allows even better adjustment to users' face. Be careful - mask would be hot!
If you're brave enough - put a kitchen towel on your face and push the mask to make it 100% accurate. Tested, yet a bit scarry.
It is also possible to do the same with PET-G, but higher temperature is required.
Print time is 2h on 0.6 nozzle and 0.4 layer height.
Also, try with 1.1 extrusion (110%). The surface may be not ideal, but the layers would bond even better.
Choose the right PART_A file depending on the nozzle size you use.
Aniosyme DD1 was tested for disinfection. No visible changes in shape were observed after one hour of bath.
Any type of filter available for you is ok. We tested s
