This is my contribution to CoVid-19 pandemic. It is very easy to print; and, it consumes very little filament. No need to use any kind of support.
I noticed several problems with existing ones here (Thingiverse): Rubber band attachment loops are too close to the face; in turn, they do not provide downward pressure (mostly sideways due to the curvature of the face). Also, most of them are too complicated, too many parts, and tons of potential leakage points. Snap-fit parts are not reliable in my opinion.
This design uses regular round cotton pads for makeup (58mm diameter), which can be found in any grocery store. After printing the mask and the plug, place a cotton pad into the mask's round area and squeeze it with the plug. Make sure there are no gaps or leakage. It should be good to go. Don't forget to add elastic strips or rubber bands.
Once you are done using it, simply throw away the cotton pad and replace it with a new one.
