CPAP hose adapter

Small CNC machines are lots of fun, but throw dust and cuttings into the room. Low cost vacuum hoses are available, with a search for "CPAP replacement hose", but they have a push-on medical connector that does not match low cost shop vacuums. The small 2.5 gallon HF imported shop vacs are quite adequate for hobby use, with something better than a big blob of sticky tape!

This adapter fits on the vacuum cleaner hose end and connects 2 of the CPAP hoses. Air flow is adequate for one CPAP hose to move with the head on a 3018-size CNC machine, while the other hose is handheld to pick up clumps of swarf and cuttings that collect around the machine. A hole is provided for a M5 bolt or screw, if you want to mount the adapter to a bench or table.
