CPU-Meter / AnalogCPU

In this project, up to 4 old-school analog gauges are used to display Information about your Computer. It is possible to read CPU-Activity, RAM-Usage, Disk-Activity and Network-Traffic.

For this purpose a Arduino Nano has to be connected to your PC (via USB) and, after writing the sketch to the microcontroller-board (analogcpu_arduino.ino in the zipfile) you simply have to execute "analogcpu.exe" and hopfully the software chooses the right Port and begins to transfer the system information.

Ever heard that you shouldn't trust executable files in Windows? So, better compile it by your own, compilation instructions can be found in "analogcpu.cs" which can be opened with every text editor.

Maximum output voltage of the Arduino is 5V, so you will need Voltmeters below or equal 5V. If their nominal voltage is below you have to choose a series resistor.

View the readme.txt file contained in the analogcpu.zip archive.
