CR-10 Cold End Support

The standard cold end mount for the CR-10 allows the whole extruder assembly to rock as there is only two horizontal mounting points which are a long way from the actual tip of the nozzle.

This part serves two purposes.
1. It supports cold end which in turn braces the whole extruder assembly. It also adds another two mounting points which make the whole assembly more ridged.

2. At the base of the cold end support there is a little step. This provides horizontal alignment of the nozzle ensuring that the tip of the nozzle is parallel to the x axis.

Notes.
1. You will need some 14-15mm long 2mm self tapping screws for the lower tow mounting points.

2. I printed mine from PETG as it is quite close to the Hot End.


This is definitely one of the best updated if done to my CR-10.
