These are printable alignment blocks for leveling your X-Gantry on the CR-10 prior to leveling bed.
I have just updated a V2 with a deeper hole for Z limit switch based on one user's request.
The long X-gantry is known to go out of level over time, whether this is due to stepper slip, roller creep, stress on axis when changing filament, what ever, it happens.
A parallel axis to the base frame is crucial so when you do level your bed, the prints come out vertical and not skewed.
Follow these instructions for use.
(all movements from control panel unless otherwise stated)
1. Home Machine
2. Move Z up about 30 mms or more
3. Move X over about 40 mms or more
4. place alignment blocks into position on frame of machine paying attention that the left block has a cut away for the Z-stop switch. Make sure the rails of the blocks fit into the grooves in the aluminum frame.
5. Move your Z axis slowly until the X-Gantry just about touches Left or Right tops of Alignm
