Makes
CR-10S Pro Heater bed cable strain relief.
Along with normal printing I have run some torture tests to check for layer shift or excessive friction.
I have had no issues.
As a result of not having to drag the cable from the case there is in my opinion a reduction in overall friction.
Optimized This option has thinner walls and tighter tolerances. if you chose to print this option, I would suggest printing 2 links and testing for fit and strength.
You will need to print,
1 X Bed clip
15 X links or as many as you need. There should still be some free cable left in the case.
1 X Base
If printed in the orientation shown in my photo, clean up any “Elephants foot” from the inside of the links with sandpaper or a sharp knife. This will allow free movement of the links.
I found I did not have to remove the cable tie on the factory bracket to fit my bed clip. I have made allowances for a cable tie to be used to hold the clip on if necessary.
thicker walled version is available.
