I recently rebuilt my MakerBot Replicator 2 using a Creality V4.2.7 board.
With that I ofc can't reuse the original display. So I decided to use a CR10 display and made this enclosure for it that uses a similar look and location to the original and also has the SD card slot in a similar location.
You will need an micro SD-Card to Full-size SD extender.
(The firmware has an option for that, because with an extension it can no longer detect, if the card has been removed or inserted. Enable that option in the Firmware so you can manually attach and remove the SD-Card from the display menu.)
Everything can be mounted with M3 screws and nuts.
Just be advised that without modifying it, it will not fit into the enclosure:
- the board needs to be sawed off at the bottom screw holes, where the buzzer and encoder is. Make sure you don't damage any traces other than the 5 that go to those components.
- The buzzer and encoder need to be desoldered rewired to the board. There are a f
