Craftsman Baseboard Cap

Design ConceptThe Craftsman Baseboard Cap model is inspired by classic Craftsman architectural styles, and is modeled after the existing baseboard in my home, sold at Lowes. It has a 1/2" profile thickness with 1/8" roundover on the top corner.This baseboard file can be used to seamlessly blend with existing base and is especially useful for tight returns where cutting and gluing mdf can be dangerous or difficult. It's also great for high water resistance, around showers, bathtubs, etc. where MDF will absorb and swell.Printing RecommendationsPrint with PLA or ABS material for better durability. Ensure reliable adhesion to the print bed due to its upright printing position. Using supports can help maintain stability and accurate geometric formation.I've designed this in Sketchup Free and have included the .stl file. You should be able to import it into your modeling software and modify it to your measurements or needs. Using Sketchup, I learned the easiest way is to use the follow tool to extend the profile over the desired path.
