So my girlfriend gave me her Creative Options organizer box for putting my 3d printer supplies in, but (as is typical with... everything...) I ran into a problem!
All of the trays were segmented into thirds length-wise, by hard molded plastic, which meant I couldn't put in tools such as the wire clippers or needle nose pliers.
I tried clipping out the plastic, and ended up cracking one of the trays.
Fortunately, I knew how to solve this! DESIGN SOMETHING!
Here is the Creative Options box the tray is designed to fit: https://www.amazon.com/Stalwart-75-STO3183-Parts-Crafts-Organizers/dp/B019W6T332
BOM:
1x Tray Base
1x Tray Lid
1x Latch
4x Tray Hinge Guides
All parts are oriented in the STLs ready for print. The Hinge Guides and Latch are printed sideways for strength in the direction that force will be applied.
The tray isn't quite as deep as it could be, as I had to shrink it down by a mm or two in order to fit on the 120x120 print bed with Cura's default settin
