Creator 3 spool extender

I have just bought a Flashforge Creator 3. A review I read stated that the filament spoolholders fitted all the brands of filament that he tried.

Well, he cant have tried many because most of my reels of filament dont fit. The rod is just not long enough.

I therefore created this simple extender which allows wider reels to be fitted.

It just slides over the existing holder. Unfortunately the side cover wont fit over it but I can live with that

I printed it in PETG but it should be fine with anything
