Cricket Loom Multishaft Conversion Shelf

This allows one to convert a Cricket brand rigid-heddle loom into a multi-shaft loom. The maximum that works well in my experience is four shafts.

You'll need two printed shelves, some dowels, and some heddles (just strings tied in a loop work fine). I use 1/2 inch diameter, 18 inch long dowels. See attached photo for an example.

These shelves are held in place by the tension of the warp (or gravity if all the shafts are down).
