Seems the pen adaptor that comes with the Cricut Maker 3 doesn't last as long as I would hope and getting one in Australia seems a little elusive, so after a few iterations of this model here is one that works as well as the original.
30 min print in eSun PLA+ (225c on Bambu Labs) or PETG and you have yourself a replacement that is easy to replace again once that one breaks. Please don't print with regular PLA as it's too brittle for the clips that flex. 0.2mm layers seems to do the job nicely.
Can be printed vertically from either end without supports. I prefer the clip end down on the bed with a 0.25mm spaced brim that comes off easily. The new SuperTack build surface on the Bambu Lab printers actually negates the need for a brim if you have one already.
Sanding the surfaces with 800 grit will help with placing the adaptor into the clip (smooth the layer ridges) but do be gentle with pushing it down into the clip.
