Compatible with Cricut brand machines as a replacement pen holder. Many people (trying to score card stock) push their score tool a little to far into the Cricut pen holder and bend the click arms it. The OEM replacement parts are dirt cheap, but frequently out of stock, and delays in shipping may leave you in a bind.

The tolerances are pretty tight, and it took 5 versions before it was working correctly. I have tested this adapter in my wife's Cricut Explorer Air 2, and it works well with Pen and with Score tool. I see from the Cricut website that the Cricut Maker uses the same "compatible" adapter.

Not for use with Explore One.

"andypiperuk" suggests using PETG as it has more flex than PLA, giving the part a little more resilience.
